Introduction

www.royallearning.in is an online platform owned by royal family, a private limited company incorporated in India. Our mission is to ignite the joy of learning in children.

1. General

These terms and conditions ("Terms") govern the use of services available on or through https://www.royallearning.in and our mobile applications ( will publish soon"). Please read these Terms together with the Privacy Policy available on the Platform and any additional agreements we may enter into with you.

 

Whereas, the Company owns, operates, and manages a Platform where Teachers can offer their Teaching Services, using Teaching Content; Whereas, the Teaching Content may be owned by the Company or a third party; Whereas, you wish to enroll in Courses on the Platform and avail Teaching Services from Teachers; Whereas, the Company and You have agreed to enter into this contract to determine the terms and conditions of usage and services on the Platform. If You do not agree to these Terms or comply with the listed requirements, please refrain from using the Platform.

2. Definitions Of Terms Used In The Terms

“Courses” refer to educational courses listed on the Platform.

“Teacher” refers to a person onboarding the Platform to provide Teaching Services.

“Teaching Content” includes text, graphics, images, music, software (excluding the Platform), audio, video, information, or other materials developed to provide education in relation to Courses.

“Teaching Services” denote services provided by Teachers directly to students.

3. Scope Of Services

The Services include providing the Platform to arrange and schedule teaching classes with Teachers. Reasonable efforts are made to help You find a Teacher available at requested time slots.

If a request is made to change the Teacher or the Teacher requests a change of student, or the Teacher is no longer associated with the Platform, the Company will provide options for different similar Teachers. The agreement with the old Teacher will terminate, and a new agreement will be entered with the new Teacher. The amount paid for Teaching Services will be adjusted with the payable amount to the new Teacher for remaining classes.

The Company facilitates payment transfer to Teachers and collects payments on behalf of Teachers. Teachers, as independent third parties, are responsible for the services they provide to You.

Subject to your agreement and compliance with the Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license to i) access and use the Platform and Teaching Content on your personal device solely in connection with your use of the service; ii) access and use any content, information, and related materials that may be made available through the service; solely for your personal, non-commercial use. You also consent to letting the Company grant a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable license of Teaching Content to the Teacher to aid in the rendition of Teaching Services to You.

For third-party content, you agree to abide by all the terms & conditions of the third party providing the content.

4. User Content

The Platform allows users with an account to post, upload, publish, display, transmit, or submit comments, reviews, suggestions, feedback, ideas, or other content ("User Content").

For effective Services provision and quality control, we may request reviews from you about Teachers. Reviews may be provided by Teachers about you. You must not knowingly provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information in the reviews. Reviews will be used for quality control and to determine user appropriateness. If we determine at our sole discretion that you are not an appropriate user, we reserve the right to cancel your registration and remove you from the Platform.

You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, transferable, sublicensable, and royalty-free license to (i) use, publish, display, store, host, transfer, process, communicate, distribute, make available, modify, adapt, translate, and create derivative works of the User Content for the functioning of, and in connection with, the Services, and (ii) use User Content for limited advertising, promoting the Services, or furnishing evidence before a court or authority under applicable laws.

Regarding these Terms and the licenses granted under this clause, you waive any claims arising out of moral rights or similar rights relating to the User Content.

You agree that the Company may, without notice, remove or restrict access to User Content that, in its sole discretion, violates these Terms.

5. Registration

To access the services offered on the Royal Learning platform, creating an account is mandatory. Users can create an account by providing basic information. During registration, you'll need to choose a username and password. Additionally, you have the option to link your social media accounts, such as Facebook or Google Plus, with your Royal Learning account. It is crucial to keep your account and registration details accurate for communication regarding your purchases from the platform.

Upon registration, the Company will collect personally identifiable information, including your name (first and last), email address, mobile phone number, and other contact details, as well as demographic information like age and gender. If you link your social media account, basic information such as name, age, gender, location, and email address will be collected. Information collected is subject to the Company's Privacy Policy, which is an integral part of these Terms of Use.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password. Any activity under the account will be considered as done by you. If false or inaccurate details are provided, or if the Company has reasonable grounds to believe so, your account may be permanently suspended.

6. Eligibility

Services on the platform are available only in select geographies in India. Individuals deemed "incompetent to contract" under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, including minors and un-discharged insolvents, are not eligible to use the platform.

If you are a minor (under 18 years but over 13 years), you may use the platform under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Use. The Company reserves the right to terminate or refuse registration if it is discovered that you are a minor.

7. Security

Transactions on the platform are secure and protected. User information entered during transactions is encrypted to prevent unintentional disclosure to third parties. The Company does not receive, store, or retain the user's credit and debit card information. This information is directly provided to the authorized payment gateway, compliant with regulations and requirements of associated banks and institutions.

8. License and Access

The Company grants you a limited license to access and use the Royal Learning platform and Teaching Content for personal use. Downloading or modification requires express written consent. The license does not permit resale or commercial use, collection of product listings, derivative use, or any exploitation for commercial purposes without written consent.

You agree not to host, display, upload, or share any information that belongs to another person without the right, is harmful, harassing, defamatory, violates intellectual property rights, or is otherwise unlawful. Additionally, you agree not to engage in activities that threaten security, unity, or public order. Unauthorized access attempts or any form of hacking are strictly prohibited.

9. Stay Connected

When you use Royal Learning, you're agreeing to hear from us – whether it's calls, emails, or messages. We might reach out to you using the phone number and email address you provided. Don't worry; it's all in line with our Privacy Policy. You're also signing up for updates and newsletters from Royal Learning and our partners.

This means we might contact you using information we get from other sources. Oh, and we might send you SMS too, but only when we think it's relevant – for things like important updates or exciting offers. If you want to opt out or stop receiving newsletters, you can do it right on the platform or by reaching out to our customer support team at teachersupport@royallearning.in (For Teachers) or customersupport@royallearning.in (For Students).

Sometimes, our service providers might get in touch too, but only to help us fulfill our commitments and responsibilities under this agreement and our other policies. We won't share your info with anyone outside our Royal Learning family.

10. Payments Made Simple

When it comes to payments, we'll charge you for the services and facilities you choose on Royal Learning. Whether it's a Teaching Fee for our fantastic educators, a Content Fee for third-party content, or a fee for the convenience of using our platform – we've got it covered.

We'll let you know the details, including fees and payment methods, when you make a booking. You can pay using credit cards, debit cards, net banking, wallets, or UPI. We might tweak or limit the payment options, but we'll always keep you informed.

​

Just so it's clear, the Teaching Fee goes to our incredible teachers. We're just here to help collect and transfer those amounts. Until the teacher gets paid, we might hold onto the money as a deposit from you – but only to settle the bill.

If we use third parties to handle payments, they'll have their own terms and policies. We won't be responsible for any hiccups caused by them – we're just keeping it transparent.

11. Your Responsibilities

Welcome to Royal Learning! As a user, we trust you to use the platform responsibly. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

• Restricted Use: Please don't copy, modify, or sell any information or software from Royal Learning without our permission. Limited use is okay with our prior approval, but no wholesale reproduction or unauthorized modification, please.

• Accessing the Platform: Stick to the provided interface when accessing the platform. Avoid using any automatic tools or methods that might disrupt our system. Be aware that you might come across content from other users that you find offensive – you can report such content.

• Respect and Legality: When posting or uploading data, ensure it complies with applicable laws and isn't offensive. Don't engage in harassment, impersonation, or any unlawful activities.

• Platform Security: Don't try to probe or test the vulnerability of our platform. Respect the security measures in place, and don't interfere with the system, accounts, or networks. Any attempt to collect or store data about other users for prohibited activities is a big no-no.

• Use for Lawful Purposes: Only use the platform for lawful and legitimate purposes. Don't violate any codes of conduct, guidelines, or laws, and certainly don't threaten the unity, integrity, or security of any nation.

• No Unauthorized Advertising: Don't use the platform to advertise or solicit products or services without our explicit consent. Sending spammy messages is not cool.

• Content Monitoring: We might not actively monitor everything posted on the platform, but we reserve the right to remove or edit content that violates the terms. Remember, you're responsible for what you post.

• Intellectual Property Rights: Respect intellectual property rights. You can't modify, distribute, or repost anything from Royal Learning without our permission.

12. Copyright And Trademark

All the cool stuff on Royal Learning is protected by intellectual property rights. You can't use, modify, or repost anything without our permission. Our trademarks and service marks are ours – hands off, please. If you decide to check out third-party links, do it at your own risk.

13. Disclaimer Of Warranties And Liabilities

We're providing the platform, services, and materials as-is. We don't guarantee uninterrupted, error-free services. Anything you download is at your own risk, and we're not responsible for any damage or loss. Typos in coupons? Our bad, but we're not liable.

14. Indemnification And Limitation Of Liability

You're responsible for your actions. If something goes wrong and we face losses, you agree to cover us. We're not liable for special or indirect damages – just the facts.

15. Termination

This agreement lasts until you or we decide otherwise. You can leave anytime by stopping your use of the platform. We can also terminate the agreement without notice, but that won't cancel your obligations for orders placed or liabilities arising before termination.

16.Hosting of Third-Party Information

Our platform, Royal Learning, hosts information provided by third parties. We want to clarify that we are not responsible for the accuracy, legitimacy, and truthfulness of the information hosted on our platform. While we take reasonable care to ensure accuracy, any falsification of provided information is not our liability. By using our platform, you agree not to hold us accountable for any inaccuracies in the information provided by third parties.

 

17.Privacy

We urge you to review our Privacy Policy to make informed decisions about your personal information. You acknowledge that information provided on the platform may reveal personal details, and you voluntarily submit such information. We may access, preserve, and disclose the information you provide during your use of the platform, as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

18.Refund Policy

For Royal Learning, only 1:1 enrollments qualify for a pro-rata refund of unconsumed classes, subject to specified cancellation charges. Refund processing time is 30-60 days from the date of the refund request. Different charges apply for domestic and international cases, and there is no refund for down payments. If no classes have been taken in the last 6 months, course fees stand forfeited.

19.Royal Learning Referral Program

Our referral program allows registered users to earn cash back when a referred person subscribes to a Royal Learning package. The referrer receives 15 days of free teaching for one subject. PlanetSpark reserves the right to modify or terminate the offer at any time and deny a claim at its discretion. Terms and conditions apply.

This section outlines the entire agreement, waiver provisions, and severability conditions. The terms of the user agreement also apply.

22.Terms & Conditions for Mobile Applications

If you use our mobile apps, read and understand the terms. You are not allowed to modify the app, and the Company reserves the right to make changes or charge for services. The Company is not responsible for the app's functionality without an internet connection, and you are responsible for associated charges. The Company does not accept liability for any loss due to reliance on third-party information.

Changes to the Terms We have the right to modify the Terms without prior notice. It is your responsibility to stay updated on the Terms, and your continued use of the platform implies consent to any amended policies.
