Wishing children came with an instruction manual? Imagine how much simpler it would be to guide them exactly as we wish. However, reality hits hard—kids don't come with manuals. Each child is unique, and so is the parenting journey. Parenting forums are flooded with questions from mothers and caregivers about their growing little ones. While some advice may work, the effectiveness is questionable.

Parenting is akin to a roller coaster ride in an amusement park—swaying you side to side without safety belts. A single jolt, and you could be thrown miles apart. Yet, fear not! Here we are with the magic broom, guiding you through this adventure—Royal Learning.

We at Royal Learning comprehend the smallest challenges and are tirelessly working to build stronger safety nets. Drawing from our experiences working with parents and those lively kids, we have a wealth of information to share.

Identifying the crucial years of a child's development, we believe ages 6 to 14 play a pivotal role in shaping a child's personality and influencing educational achievements. The environment, peer groups, teacher interactions, and family time all contribute to building the foundation of a child's success as a human being.

Developmental Milestones: Ages 6-9

In these initial years of development, children begin to construct their little worlds. Stepping into the school environment, meeting diverse groups of people, and making friends create an exciting journey. The influences from this new environment are evident in changes in behavior, dressing, walking, and the endless conversations shared with you. As parents, the bond formed during these years is exceptionally special. Sharing experiences allows you to earn a place in your child's world and understand their perspective on the happenings around them.

Appreciating your child's small victories not only boosts confidence but also establishes trust, considering you as a friend. Focus on developing social and cognitive skills, encourage participation in sports and cultural activities, and foster healthy peer relations.

Teenage Development: Ages 10-14

Entering the teen years is marked by mood swings and self-discovery. Your once open and confident child may become reserved and less communicative. Patience is key. Build on the foundation of trust established in the earlier years by sharing experiences.

Encourage curiosity and exploration to develop thinking abilities. Collaborate with teachers to enhance social activities and gain insights into your teen's peer group. Address concerns about the group indirectly, sharing experiences and helping them identify priorities.

Emotional development and abstract thinking are crucial aspects that require close attention. As parents, your involvement is paramount, and your role evolves with each phase of your child's development. Moving towards a friendship-based bond builds a foundation of trust for smoother navigation through the years.

At Royal Learning, we understand our dual responsibility—to strengthen bonds and extend our support as a family, earning trust along the way.
